It's hardly surprising, for example, that even the locals make a pilgrimage to scenic Feldringalm to enjoy massive dumplings prepared by host Malle himself. There is also a lot of sunshine on this high Alpine plateau, plus wonderful views of the Inntal and grazing Haflinger horses. Discover a variety of idyllic huts with farm animals and excellent regional cuisine, ranging from the small Armelenhütte in Oetz to the Lenzenalm in Gurgl.

Stabele Alm towering high above Längenfeld is particularly popular with (e)bikers. Here you can book in advance a delicious mountain breakfast on Wednesdays and Saturdays. On the other hand, lovely Stallwiesalm in Sölden's quiet part makes a perfect place for a jovial get-together in the evening as you can reserve it for private hut evenings. Don't worry, mouth-watering spare ribs and shredded pancakes ("Kaiserschmarrn") are also available during the day.

But those who are aiming particularly high are also well catered for: If you hike from Gries to Amberger Hütte, a stopover for the legendary blueberry omelet is absolutely recommended at Sulztalalm - before you reach the destination at 2135 m above sea level where Tirolean specialties are served. Martin-Busch-Hütte at 2501 m altitude is famous for delicious strudel and pancakes. And at majestic Brunnenkogelhaus you can enjoy a hearty breakfast on the sun-kissed terrace at 2738 meters or try regional dishes that have almost been forgotten in these days, such as Tirggnmues, Ongsats or Schepsans - come and try for yourselves.
