Of course, tobogganing has to be learned first. But with a little practice, children can also master easy runs very well. Great advantage: the very little ones love to be pulled up on the toboggans, wrapped up in warm clothes, and for the older ones it’s simply a lot of fun to speed downhill again.
Probably the easiest yet most scenic route in Ötztal can be found in Oetz. The approx. 1 kilometer long run starts right at lake Piburger See. Parents and kids can cover the distance in a very short time. Special tip: For night owls, the toboggan run is illuminated in the evening until 11.00 pm.

The toboggan run at Feldringalm is also very suitable for families. Despite the steep ascent to the Sattele car park at 1700 meters above sea level, the path meanders initially flat, then gently uphill. All family members can complete the 2 kilometer long route in about an hour. Once at Feldringalm, you enjoy a leisurely refreshment stop before you return.
