Haus Neuwirt, built in 1833, is located in the center of Sautens. Thanks to its central location all shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The guesthouse offers is a 82 m ² wheelchair-friendly apartment. The apartment can be found in a lovingly renovated, traditional inn where genuine Tirolean handicrafts have been added to create a modern ambience. The apartment features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - one with bathtub, one with a barrier-free shower - and a kitchen-cum-living area. The apartment is barrier-free, the bathrooms offer top modern amenities. For single wheelchair travelers, families with wheelchair user or in other combinations, this holiday apartment in the center of Sautens is particularly suitable if you want to enjoy active wheelchair holidays as Ötztal offers great opportunities for mono skiing, sledge cross-country skiing, wheelchair hiking and swimming on lake Piburger See, wellness at Aqua Dome and many more attractions for activity holidays.

Arrival/parking/access:		Right in front of the house there is a large parking area that is perfectly accessible for wheelchairs. It is not marked separately as a disabled parking space. The main entrance can be reached via a ramp without steps or thresholds.

Room/living area/WC and bathroom:		The apartment features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub, one with a barrier-free shower) and a kitchen-cum-living area. All doors in the apartment meet the standards for wheelchair users in terms of width and usability. Light switches, window blinds, first aid kits, fire blankets and fire extinguishers are conveniently and easy to reach for wheelchair users. Roll-under tables and desks are available. The barrier-free shower features top modern equipment with a wheelchair-approved WC (extra-wide, handle, accessible from one side at an angle of 90 degrees), a roll-under washbasin, mirror at eye level, roll-in shower with shower seat and fittings adjustable in height. The second bathroom is equipped with a bathtub which is also suitable for active wheelchair users, but without handles. This bathroom also offers sufficient maneuvering space. The bed heights in the bedrooms are a comfortable 40 to 50 cm and can also be adjusted in height. The beds are easily accessible from one long side and also easy to reach. If necessary, a nursing bed can be provided. More detailed information on wheelchair accessible leisure activities and help or advice on sports equipment rental that is suitable for wheelchair uses can be provided on site.
