Panorama Restaurant Hochoetz, nestles at 2020 m above sea level right next to the top station of Acherkogel mountain gondola and the family adventure WIDIVERSUM HOCHOETZ. Maria's is an perfect hike for the whole family and owners of the Ötztal Card. Wonderful panoramic view of Sölden and the Ötztal.Traditional and tyrolean dishes.
Lovingly prepared Austrian dishes are served in the cozy Wirtshausstube parlor or on the separate, sheltered Wirtshaus terrace. Your meals are accompanied by selected premium wines of local winemakers or fresh draft beers. Stop off at the inviting Wirtshaus Bar and enjoy a cappuccino, a glass of wine or beer. Early birds can book a sumptuous breakfast in the Wirtshaus to boost their energy level for the day's skiing.

Our hut has a comfortable and recreative athmosphere and is situated 1786 meters above sea level in the mountain mass "Tschirgant".You can reach the hut by foot or with the mountainbike.In the summer season every Wednesday DAY OFF!
The Vordere Tumpenalm lies at an altitude of 1.831 meters, surrounded by lash green meadows and the Ötztal mountains.Hiking path:Parking: parking lot at the elementary schoolTrailhead of this tour is Tumpen´s elementary school. Follow the asphalt road in direction of Grube - turn left into the forest trail leading up to the Tumpen waterfall. Take the trail on the left towards Gehsteig Alm and Vordere Tumpener Alm as soon as you reach the last junction. The path on the right takes you to Armelen Hütte. Altitude gain: 908Duration: 2 hours (up and down 4 hours)Return: same route or a mountain tour to the "Ersten Karkopf" an further to the Armelen Hut and back to Tumpen- whole-time hot meal- regional and tyrolean specialities- overnight stay: 1 Hut for 4 person- Dogs allowable - on request
The Wiesle (1,528 m) was already mentioned 450 years ago as the Schweighof. While the small patch of meadow was primarily used for agriculture for centuries, the Wiesle is now particularly popular with those looking for relaxation and day trippers.You can reach the hut via the prepared winter hiking trail from Niederthai (cross-country skiing centre).Warm meals, snacks, mostly own products or from local farmers.Hut evenings, small celebrations or simply a nice get-together in the evening can also be requested.TheWiesle is one of the fine culinaryspots ("Genussplatzlen"). "Regional, seasonal, honestcuisine - whatever is available is enough!" - is the motto. The"Genussplatzlen" include commited businesses that act regionally andsustainably whenever possible. The Sulztalalm is located at an altitude of 1,915 m. From the parking area in Gries the path leads through meadows to the "Vögelasbrücke" at first. Continue the path to Sulztalalm at a slight hikingtrail trough the forest. (Approx. 1,5 h walking time)After a refreshment with good homemade meals you can continue the hike to Ambergerhütte. (1 h walking time)

The Polles valley is the longest side valley of the Ötztal.The Polles Alm is located at an altitude of 1.782m and is easily accessible in approx. 2 hours starting at the football ground in Huben. The first path leads through the „Ötztaler Sagenweg“ to the Feuerstein hut and further on an old very beautiful hiking trail up to the Polles hut.Ideal for a family hike or for a mountain bike tour.On Saturday and Sunday, the innkeepers offer an alpine breakfast by prior arrangement. From Monday to Friday (Wednesday closed) the alpine breakfast can be booked in advance for 6 or more people.
