Therefore it was awarded with the highest quality seal for bike destinations in two categories by "Mountain Bike Holidays". Only those bike regions that meet the high quality standards receive the "Approved Bike Area" seal. What's best, Ötztal has been awarded twice!

All those who want to become an officially "Approved Bike Area" must meet severe criteria and requirements that have been developed and defined by "Mountain Bike Holidays". Only regions that meet these standards are allowed to have the (one and only) quality seal for bike destinations. Ötztal has scored strongly in the "Tour & Trail" and "Enduro & Trails" categories and was able to earn 5 Stars (and almost the highest score).

The Ötztal Bike Region is a certified "Tour & Trail" region and was rated with a total score of 289 points (out of 300 possible points) in this category. The certificate stands for

Approved Bike Area - Enduro & Parks

Thanks to the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN, Ötztal is also an officially "Approved Bike Area" in the "Enduro & Parks" category. The region was ennobled by the testers with the maximum score (300 points). The certificate stands for

» 15 different tour offers for enduro & park bikers at different levels of difficulty

» Mountain lifts that offer mountain bike transport and allow access to at least 5 routes

» Self-service repair tool kit, bike wash station and lockers close to the mountain lifts
