Glacier

Only the sky above you

Sölden’s glacier makes a unique experience in every season: from autumn to spring you can ski on the wide and snow-sure slopes of Rettenbach & Tiefenbach Glaciers. The two glacier ski mountains, which extend between 2675 meters and 3250 meters above sea level and comprise 34.5 slope kilometers, are connected by a spectacular ski tunnel. The glacier also offers outstanding attractions in summer: as an excursion destination, hiking area or even mountain bike heaven.

At the very top: The 5 Tirolean glaciers

The best thing about Tirol’s 5 scenic glaciers? Difficult to say: is it the panoramic view? Or the extra-long season? The plus in hours of sunshine? The downhill slopes and ski runs? One thing is for sure: the 5 Tirolean glaciers are not just ski areas. These Alpine mountains stand for a truly extraordinary feeling of elation, the "being on top". 3000 meters above sea level promise even more skiing fun, uninterrupted panoramic views, the most modern infrastructure, culinary delights and top-class events.
