Several bus stops make it easy to reach Ötztal’s main attractions and highlights. Scenic Timmelsjoch Pass or Rettenbach Glacier make a superb base for hiking tours. What‘s best, using the public bus lines the two toll roads are free of charge.
Card holders enjoy discounts (off the regular rate) on the local hut taxi service! Attention: bikes are not transported!
The taxi service is available once per week in the following villages:

Pre-booking of the Längenfeld - Gries shared taxi on T +43 9990 1454 (pre-booking possible up to one hour before departure).

Detailed bus schedules and information on bus stops are available at all selling points and Ötztal Tourismus Information Offices or in your accommodation! Please note that dogs must be muzzled in all public bus lines!
The Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road is, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and valleys, probably the most beautiful connection to the neighboring country Italy. In addition to the scenic drive, there is also a lot of interesting information to take away along the way. Six stations provide information on the region's nature, history, culture, society and economy.

The glacier panorama road leads from the hustle and bustle of the village of Sölden up to the foot of the mighty glaciers in scenic bends. Due to the breathtaking panorama, the road was chosen as the location of the spectacular car chase in the action thriller James Bond SPECTRE.
