Is it the clean and crisp mountain air that makes so hungry or the hand-rolled dumplings, the fluffy Kaiserschmarrn, the varied homemade specialties? However, a stop in Sölden's traditionally serviced mountain huts and Alpine pasture inns is an absolute must and you will soon find out why. Some are conveniently located close to the valley floor, others can be reached after a short mountain gondola ride or by hut taxi, still others only by a long walk on foot. In all places you can expect freshly prepared mountain food, jovial hut atmosphere and uninterrupted mountain vistas.
Rustic alpine hut with service below Hochsölden, directly at the Rotkogl valley station. - directly at the lines: end of Harbe Line 6008 and start of Gahe Line (6028) and Olm Volle Line (6040) - Very good cuisine with local products from our own farm- the hut is very easy to reach by car / motorbike / e-bike- also easy to reach via hiking trails from Sölden in the direction of Hochsölden in 1.5 hours walking time

Comfortable hut, huge sunbathing climbing aces with a marvelous panorama look to the glacier. Comfortably attainable with the car across the glacier street or from Hochsölden walking tour in 45 minutes.Hiking tip: by bus to Hochsölden 2.100 m high alpine hike above the forest boundary to the Rettenbach Alm.
When planning your tour for the winter season 2022/2023, please note that the winter room at the Hochstubaihütte is NOT available for overnight stays. This is due to problems and delays in the construction process.
