Not only because it travels off the main road and thus safely and worriless through exciting landscapes - it also leads directly past the most popular family excursion destinations within the entire valley. Places for a rest and e-bike charging stations along the route ensure that you don't run out of battery.

The Ötztal Nature Park protects an area of 510 km². It is the second largest nature park in Tirol. It stretches from Lake Piburger See at 774 meters altitude to its end at 3774 m tall Wildspitze summit, the highest mountain in Northern Tirol. Between the entrance and the rear end of the valley there are five info points and the new, multi-media Nature Park House in Längenfeld. Ideal for families thirsty for knowledge and hungry for hikes.

There is always enough time for a visit to the "Alm" (Alpine mountain hut)! ALMZEIT is the name of this adventurous family hiking trail where families get in close touch with the variety and characteristics of mountain huts and Alpine pastures in and around Sölden. For example the "animal" Gaislach Alm: Here you will not only find a petting zoo but also pony riding and a trout pond.

Equipped with a special treasure hunting map (or alternatively with a GPS device), small and big adventurers set off into the scenic Ötztal mountains. In close touch with the unrivaled kings of the air. At the Birds of Prey Park near Umhausen you can marvel at the flying skills of vultures, eagles, owls and falcons up close. At the daily flight shows, visitors sometimes also have to duck their heads!

At the Ötzi Village you can take a closer look at the probably most famous man of the Stone Age. The archaeological outdoor park shows how the Neolithic people lived, hunted and worked. In the Local Heritage and Outdoor Museum in Lehn near Längenfeld, the rural culture of the valley can be experienced up close - not least thanks to the 16 historic buildings in the museum area.
